How to get you child into Modeling and Commercials.

Everyone, I just purchase a guidance book on how to get your children in to modeling. I will post soon any helpful information for moms who are interested in doing the same. At this point we are still waiting on some good news/ I have not been promoting over the last few weeks due to other projects but I will began and updat you soon.

Children Photo Contest Parents Magazine
Hi mom's,
Today I submitted Solei photos into two contest on the Parents website.
Be sure to check out the Parents website and submit your child's photo.
Currently, there are several contest to enter.

Modeling Advice from parents magazine
Over the weekend I viewed a number of videos on child modeling, the summary was from Parents Magazine ( parapharsed): It is not enough to just take good pictures. The child has to also be happy, and out going as well as present some personality.
This is a good tip to know for all aspiring baby and kid models.

WALMART RESPONSE
I would like to thank Michelle. She got back to us so promptly and we great appreciate her and the Walmart stores.
Walmart responded to an email I sent along with photos and videos of Solei:
Hi Cassie,
Thanks for your email. I’ve forwarded your information on to our senior director of creative who selects all our models. He will reach out to you directly should there be interest in seeing more photos or using Solei in future Walmart campaigns. Thanks again for your interest in working with us.

I’m sorry, have to say something. I have several family members that work for the Wal-Mart home office and their ad’s make good money. Not Gucci or Prada money but $3,000 flat fee plus $1,200 an hour that’s just for an “inexperienced” model. Sounds plenty good to me…. I don’t make 3,000 in a month and I work full-time (40 hrs a week).
Congrats, maybe she can keep getting a few more of those presumably “sad” Wal-Mart jobs.

FAITH WITHOUT WORK IS DEAD
Today, I got a late start, but I did manage to leave a comment on Ellen's website. I am hoping she will respond and help us get our feet in door.
I really believe she will contact us soon.
Next, I edited some of the videos I produced on You tube.
I added some annotations, which makes the videos more entertaining and sent an email out to a gentlmen who is linked to Elizabeth Taylor. I am unsure of the end result but at least I am thinking creatively and trying.
Yesterday I forgot to metion that I asked another entertainer's Pr. Rep by email if she would help us,sent photos and videos f Solei and I am just waiting for a response.
We found a site that was very interesting on You tube the director is from that 70's show. It consist of actors doing short skits, it was really enjoyable to watch. I that site an email asking for help as well.
I have to say that people aren't to quick to volunteer to help you get a foot into the door. I am not sure why that is, however; when Solei gets an opportunity I will reach out to others with support and referrals. There is room for many children in this industry.

Looking For An Agent For Solei a 4 year old.
I'm the mother of Solei. She is an aspiring print model and wants to do commercials.
I'm Cassie, a full time marketing student. My first marketing job will be working for my own child since jobs are few, and loans have to be paid off. I've decided to make lemons out of lemonade. It's 2:30 am and I find joy in working for free all day and night for Solei. I know that hard work leads to success.
I am serious about helping her achieve her goals because I had a dream of being a ballet dancer. There was nothing more in the World that I wanted to do than to be on stage like a beautiful swan performing under those hot lights. Pay was irrelevant. I just had a passion for it.
Some how my parents were not to serious about making it happen for me. They had three other children. I don't hold it against them. I count it as a broken dream. We all have some of those.
So I decided that I will do and work as hard as I can to make her dreams come true.
Join us as seek doors of opportunities. One day Oprah will reach out to us I have faith.
Today, I spent the day downloading videos on YouTube of Solei. I haven't a clue as to how to do any of this but I tried and everything turned out well. Yesterday was my actual first day on the job. I happy with the results. If you try hard enough you can do it.
I contacted a guy from ICM, which I was told is one of the largest agencies in the World.
He was in a rush to get me off the phone and said "We only take people by referral."
I thanked him for his time and felt intimidated. I decided to get the courage to call him back and ask so who should I contact? How do I avoid being scammed? Where do I begin?
He was kind enough to say start with boutique modeling and the smaller agencies.
I asked do you have any referrals? He said "I can' t give you any referrals. I thanked him again and felt a little more confident. He was still in a big hurry to get off the line so I refrained from asking more questions. I had lots more. I just wanted him to say don't worry I will help you.
However life is never that easy. It's starting to look as if the road ahead will be like walking to china and swimming across the ocean. It's going to be a challenge.
Next, I contacted an online clothing site for kids called Ollie. I sent them an email asking if they would be interested in having my daughter model their clothing line. I am waiting for a response.
